I'm trying to join the Homestuck discord, right? I actually successfully did that, yay!
But the thing is
I can't actually Do Shit on there cause I don't have a confirmed phone number. I'm like "Ok. That's fine. I'll just put that in there." But apparently. I've already used that phone number for a different discord account. This is news to me.
So I go to the help thingy that's linked. (not linked actually. or copyable. i had to type it.) It says to do some shit, and then I'm able to get to that account. I do that shit. And now I'm in the account.
Apparently, I made an old one and then forgot about it. Whatever.
It says I have to input an email address in order to delete the phone number. Idfk why there no email in there. But again: whatever. Apparently("apparently" again), I also can't use the same email address for multiple discord accounts. So I input my second email, and I don't remember the password. I change the password. I put in the password I changed it to. It doesn't work. I double check that I used the right password. Yup. I did. I try it again, and it doesn't work again. Well Fuck Me, I guess.
At this point I just delete the account. "Things really don't have to be that complicated" I naively think. I put my phone number back into discord because, remember, That's what this whole thing it for. But it still says the number's being used for a different account. ????, WTF? I log back into the account. It says the account is "scheduled for termination". So I guess it takes a bit. Alright.
Now it's the next day (today), and I go back to the discord and try yet again with my number. Still. No. So I log back into the account, where it still says "scheduled for termination". I'm like "Ok, fuck this" and click the Don't Delete It button. I try again with my second email. And it Still Doesn't Work. So I make. A THIRD FUCKING EMAIL. I literally COPY & PASTE my email AND password into there. And you'll never guess what the fuck it says.
