With any adaptation, changes between mediums, changes need to be made. It is inevitable that the story must be changed, and ideally such changes results in two works of art that elevate the other through their coexistence.
Now, what sort of changes to Homestuck do you, fellow forum users, think will be necessary, and are there any possible changes you feel hopeful or even excited for?
personally, I'm very curious as to how many conversations will be changed from text to phone calls, and possibly seeing characters speak face-to-face before acquiring the Gift of Gab.
One of my predictions is that we will see the trolls far sooner (my current strongest theory is that we will mostly just see the kids getting "trolled" far earlier in the story) and I am curious as to how the typing quirks will be translated voice acing if at all. will the trolls be given strange and cartoony voices?
Mostly I'd like this to be a thread discussing the potentially fun parts of adaptation. Sometimes changes in adaptations aren't bad, but allow you to see the story and characters from entirely new angels. What do you guys think?
