a track i made kind of based off what it probably felt like for dave to forfeit his life to become davesprite, completely altering its trajectory forever; since somebody has to pick up the fucking slack around here

this track was primarily written on what it felt like for dave to leave rose behind, unsure of what would happen to her to become davesprite. near the end of the track, it focuses on the feeling of the timeline collapsing, where theres an unwinding of time coming off the reels like a projector. you see visions and flashes of the whole comic from the point of reversal going backwards, until its much too faded to be percieved, and its just an endless void.

a remix of "if theres one last thing before", where i tried to make it more desperate sounding, like a final stand. the sword clang in the beginning is symbolic of daves reluctance to give up so easily on trying to find a way to unfuck everything, but we all know how it went
