For me though, the classic Doctor song is definitely my favorite. In fact, it's my favorite song period. Absolutely astounding thing, my friends on discord have heard me go on absolute infodumps of my passion for this song, which I shall spare these forums because most people could agree that song is absolutely mythical.
Homestuck has some CRAZY GOOD tracks... Ive taken up 90% of storage on my phone downloading all of the albums so i can blast that shit in my car lmao.

I think I've listened to ElevatorStuck and Hate You a million times over at this point. Hell, I bought the Volume 6 album off Bandcamp and burned an entire CD full of ElevatorStuck on loop. There exists no length to which I will not go for Homestuck music.
I dont have a lot of favorites bc ofc i dont, but I'm always circling back to Moonsetter. Love me some piano.
youtube has caught on to my appreciation for the homestuck soundtrack, whenever it serves me up one of those “mix” playlists its majority mspa music! majority of stuff comes from volume 5-6, oddly enough. not complaining, though!!

I'm really quite fond of some of the solo albums that came out around the comic's heyday, particularly Mobius Trip and Hadron Kaleido, Medium, Sburb, and One Year Older. All of them are such wonderful albums, each full of spectacular music.
Though I suppose that my favorite song is probably Ruins (With Strings) by Erik Scheele and Michael Guy Bowman from Homestuck Vol.5. I just love the feeling the song gives off with its soundscape. The heavily reverberated piano is accompanied by the sound effect of the blowing wind, the way the guitar plays the main melody over top the piano when the strings are introduced. The way that the song gives off a desolate and lonely sound in the beginning, then swells into a melancholic small symphony in its later half. I just find it absolutely amazing.

also its probably because Im weird but man it feels kind of surreal seeing some of the people who develop the fan music Ive loved on here. I was there on the r/homestuck community stream this 4/13 and I remember seeing so many insanely good songs be thrown on live 4 the first time (god bless Fondly Regard Illustration) and some of them are on this site already and like oh my god its the cool people.... ily all I love this community

Dude Indigo Heir is such an underrated song and I think people don't really touch it because it's Equius' theme and they have a vendetta. Peak song, one of the best in the comic.

it would be impossible for me to choose my favorite Homestuck song or even list like, my top 10 because there is just too many good ones!
however, i find the album 'Medium' to be the most outlandish and interesting. Not that others aren't but this ones really cool! if you're in the right headspace, it can sound so magical and i just love that one.
Typical answer but god moonsetter makes me cry even now. Lots of good music tho
