thoughts on the Homestuck physical releases? any word on them being revived after they just stopped coming out?

I looked on Amazon, the dang things are selling for two hundred bucks a pop. Seems like you can get a better deal on eBay but it's pretty clear that Viz doesn't care to continue printing.
My understanding is that Hussie is the one who ended the Viz deal, though why that is or if it was responsible for the books being canceled I don't know.
The Homestuck.com revival announcement has mentioned the commentaries being part of the site refresh, and the last we heard of the books was James saying "maybe someday". So I don't think we're gonna see anything anytime soon. If we do end up getting the rest of the commentary for the series by the end of the year, I'd say it's more likely that someone will make downloadable templates for printing your own HS books with commentary included. Which would obviously be expensive, but having a full collection on your shelf is worth it to some people.
As for other physical releases, one of the kickstarter promises way back when was a flash drive with an offline copy of Homestuck on it. It's possible that whatever they end up doing with their fork of the UHC may be the answer to that.
