I had an idea of doing a crossover fic or whatever of these two things because I like them both. This is gonna be a little similar to the Marvel Rivals one, except I'm not as jaded and angry while writing it lol. Again, I am only doing favorites; there are too many fucking Homestuck AND Genshin characters, good gravy. Also, the Homestuck characters all have pretty European names, but I'm assigning them different nations based purely on vibes and bc I wanna

June: I am currently creating art of this, but June is an Anemo Claymore user who wields a giant hammer, and she is bunny-themed. There's just an overall bunny motif going on in the weapon, the attacks, everything. She's a blacksmith from Mondstadt who forges weapons made from ancient debris and swords, and often enjoys exploring the ruins of the old Decarabian city in Old Mondstadt. She'd be a 5-star and wouldn't be a Knight of Favonius but a member of the church. Also, I think she'd be a fan of Fontainian movies and films lol.
Rose: 5-Star Electro Catalyst user from Fontaine who knew the whole time about the Fontainian prophecy, but she kept it a secret because it's just more fun that way. She's been purposefully studying the Cataclysm that reshaped Teyvat, and has had to keep all of this a secret because too much knowledge literally gets you murked by the Gods in Genshin lol. She is a popular novelist whose work gets published in the Steambird weekly, and many like her stories.
Jade: Sumeran Dog girl from the Desert who is also a Dendro Catalyst user, but in the way Heizou and Wriostheley are Catalyst users lol. She'd be a hybrid between using her hands and a "gun" weapon, like Mika, who is technically a Polearm but who has a crossbow in his attacks. Anyway, she was raised in the Temple of Silence and moved to Sumeru City to add more to their archives (imagine this is after Sethos' character story, where people from the Desert and Temple of Silence work together). She studies ancient architecture. I think she'd be a 4-Star and that they'd pull a Honkai Star Rail and just make her a 5-Star later.
Dave: 4 Star Pyro Sword Inazuman soldier who was sent to fight in the war against Watatsumi Island with his brother, but after his bro kicked the bucket and the war was over, he kind of just became a regular civilian (or tried to be lol) He really only signed up because his brother pushed him to and had no real desire to fight. Anyways, all that sad shit aside, I think he'd just make SBAHJ into a comic in this universe and publish it as a novel that has pictures instead. Yae Publishing House thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread.
Alpha kids:
Jane: Rich, aristocratic Fontainian who's a 5-star Hydro Sword user. Her family owns one of the largest bakeries in all of Teyvat, who sell pastries worldwide. Her family is also a part of the Marechausse Hunters and was responsible for locking up the Doomsday cult that predicted the second Cataclysm. She is proud of this fact, and her family had enough money to intentionally change the story of events to make the Doomsday cult look really bad and to further hide the secret about the second Cataclysm's arrival.
Roxy: Natlanese Pyro 5 Star Polearm from the Children of the Springs tribe, she not only works at the hotsprings and resort, but is a "matchmaker" who charges tourists coming into Natlan for a chance to find their perfect match or whatever lol, but I imagine she's actually pretty bad at it. Idk what her ancient name would be at all, unfortunately </3
Jake: 5 Star Geo from Mondstadt who uses a "bow" but is a sharpshooter like Chevreuse or Clorinde. He's a part of Varka's expedition crew and was allowed to separate from them for a bit to go and explore on his own. He's an adventurer and does odd jobs here and there. I imagine he's famous for doing incredibly dangerous quests for people like The Traveler is, so a lot of people know about him and speak about him like he's some super awesome hero of legend. In actuality he's just A Guy.
Dirk: 5 Star Descender, like Skirk, who came from another world entirely. He's a sword user. Nobody knows he is a Descender, obviously, and he intends to keep it that way. He disguises all of his strange, weird-looking attacks as Pyro, but it still does weird things to other enemies. (I haven't decided if this will just straight up be Ult Dirk goofing off and jumping to this other reality for kicks or not lol, but it's a start)
