Are you excited, and if so what for?
Personally I just want to see more of the puzzle adventure gameplay, Act 2 was alright and definitely more varied, so I have decently high hopes for the next part. I love classic point and click adventure games and Hiveswap is definitely worthy in my opinion
this is SUCHHHHH a basic reply but i'm mostly excited to see how the worldbuilding evolves!! with all of the character interactions, act 2 really fleshed out the setting and gave it a lot more substance than it had before, and i'd like to see more of that. and i am curious about fiamet's deal, of course... i really hope we get a good sneak peek of act 3 at SAHcon this year!!!
twin. honestly i dont really have any expectations for act 3 other than I hope it leans more into what made act 1 good than what made act 2 good. the chars were nice but act 1 had that detail DOWN in the item interactions/rooms/etc

i felt like act 2 was a step-down in terms of gameplay and writing, especially with the jade-teal car. so i hope act 3 manages to improve on the aspects i felt were lacking previously.
I have a feeling that act 3 has alot of potential. My guess is that it’s going to be a lot like invader zim. Which is a show I honestly enjoyed alot. Hopefully there will be more gameplay to it!

(This is my first time on forums I am not familiar with forum etiquette so I apologise if I do something wrong)
I just hope it'll still come out. Although, this year HAS been good for video game franchise installments that previously had no hope left (Deltarune, Silksong, Tomodachi Life) so... there's still time :0
I also agree with xefros re: worldbuilding (god i'm such a sucker for Alternia worldbuilding) and anomaletix on gameplay. I hope Act 3 puts the Adventure Game back into Hiveswap: Homestuck Adventure Game, you know? I don't hate the more visual novel-like angle that Act 2 took, but it definitely felt like a bit of a downgrade from Act 1 because it was so well-made. The developers were able to tie together Homestuck's signature sense of humor and mystery without sacrificing fun gameplay, which I hope they can pull off again.
I'm excited for some new lore drops, excited for the kids to be roughing it out in the wilderness presumably, excited for some more varied puzzles, and if we see some consequences for choices we've made then that'd be p cool, tho i bet that maybe more of an Act 4 thing
