hey! this is kind of related to something else, but i figure i might as well put it here unrelated to that!
is there any way one could technically circumvent the username blocking? like when you try to grab a canon handle!
well.. i guess this would be a question a hacker would ask themselves but, its something that makes me wonder how complex it is to block some usernames?

hey. gotta jump in here and nip this in the bud. just so you know, we are aware of and actively fixing this exploit now; we reserved those usernames for a reason, and i'm sorry to say that we're gonna be taking them back any time we see people taking them A:because that's actively being done through an exploit and B: as i said earlier, they were reserved for a reason. for now this isn't a bannable offense or anything, but you are also, y'know, explicitly asking how to hack our forum on our forum, LOL.
i know it seems super "no fun allowed" and we did a lot of debating about it, but them's the brakes. please feel free to take johnegbert1 or anything else, obviously feel free to rp a character on here to your heart's desire, but consider this an official statement from the team: don't do that.

to be clear, if the username was able to be made legitimately through the FRAF site, we were fine with it being made, even if it did have a dialogue! we wanted everyone to be able to see those, they were extremely fun to write and extremely fun to see people discover (keep your eyes out for more, because... there are more.)
we only actually RESERVED a few specific names, under the following criteria, for the main 8 kids and the main 12 trolls and a few miscellaneous others:
- First Name
- Last Name
- First and Last Name
- chat handle

I'm glad not all of the usernames were restricted because, even though it feels a little unfair, getting the username docscratch before anyone else was very exciting for me in particular. I'm sure many others share the sentiment.

@miles would love to see more easter eggs added over time, it's so fun to discover more like the helliter one added recently, also interesting... "for a reason." Lore reasons maybe? ARG? Guess that's not able to be discussed at this time.

ok with the context the post makes a little more sense, and im willing to share a bit since the issue has been fixed. that specific person was able to call to api because of a lack of a check, and used Cyrillic letters to get that username. since their username had a cyrillic letter the profile page wouldn't work due to the url breaking.
talked to autoresponder on discord, theyre a real gem. i enjoyed the little mystery and stir they made here.
