i really suck at sewing as well as measuring fabric. does anyone know a easy minimal as possible sewing tutorial to make the heir hood for my godtier jegbert cosplay? buying is non existent and commissioning is not a thing for me right now. 2 patterns i saw on tumblr uses a zipper and i am not doing all that!!

here’s a pretty good simple tutorial without zippers and such! really all that you’re looking at here is a slightly modified medieval hood pattern. we mostly call the funny heir hood a windsock but i believe it’s based somewhat upon a liripipe. if you look for liripipe tutorials on google you will see very very similar patterns, only difference is how quickly they taper thin.
this is a pretty easy one to tinker around with. make it with paper first and then once you like the size of the sock (change it up for your own height!) trace the paper shape onto the fabric.
