Jade reflects many of Ronald Reagan's policies. Her propensity for firearms represents Reagan's increased militarization. She is of course associated with radioactive materials, representing how Reagan increased cold war tensions and the threat of nuclear weapons. She of course lives on an island with only herself and her grandpa, meaning she likely doesn't pay taxes.
