So, I've seen a bunch of threads about various series here (the Glitch shows, "BIGTOP BURGER"...) but I thought just making one general thread for web animation would be cool, too.
Personally, I'm very interested in indie animation in general (I want to check some GLITCH & Spindlehorse stuff, "BIGTOP BURGER", "Monkey Wrench", "Lackadaisy"...) but, because of me being busy, I've never gave myself the time to check it. But anyway, what's your fav animation shows/films/pilots on the Internet? Let's share a bit, y'all!
A cool indie animation project I wanna give shouts out to is this one that my friend showed me called “NETIZEN”!

So far only Act 1 is out and there’s gonna be 3 Acts of it and it’s really epic and interesting! This animator also just makes a lotta fun mixed media animations I recommend!!!
I have the first episode of "NETIZEN" in my playlist of things to watch, it looks very interesting!
I am a HUGE fan of BFDI (Battle for Dream Island). I have been watching since 2017 and it's very cool to see the contestants fight. And it's been going on for 15 years! Also a fan of Inanimate Insanity.
Also, I really like Eddsworld (specifically the older episodes) and The Amazing Digital Circus.
Don't ask why Geno hates Jade Harley.
on topic of object shows, even if you dont like object shows usually yall should watch ONE/HFJone

i think thats the right playlist but idk
vriska is awesome
This is only one episode that was never expanded into a full series, but I have to recommend Mike and Melissa. The first couple times you watch it you will probably be like "what the fuck" but if you're like me it is a really fascinating look into the life of it's creator. The creator (the titular Mike) is clearly a very flawed person but it is really interesting to me thinking about how his situation developed into what you see in the episode and whether or not his actions are healthy. Watching it like fifty times honestly made me consider a lot of things that I hadn't and shaped several of my current opinions. Though I should give a warning that it contains sexually explicit content and misogyny from the main character/author.
I'm noting all your suggestions, thanks!
a bit late but I wanted to mention vewn and how amazing her animations are.
Also! Shermy's Forest is one of the best feel good animations available on youtube!
(◑‿◐)
aw yis vewn mentioned, i love her artstyle!!
anyone else watched wastelandia? any izzzyzzz fans here? the characters are painfully relatable qwq
id recommend it to any angsty furry failures
it's not so much an animated series as it is a longform serialized transmedia work (part-animation, part-motion comic, part-audio drama, part-visual novel) but FUCK IT.
Hunter: The Parenting is KICKASSS and you should watch it/listen to it NOW NOW NOW!!!
