Jake English makes me sad

It seems like his life is forever bad, he's constantly suffering and nothing good is happening to him. And although I haven't yet read epilogues and beyond canon, from what I know, it doesn't gets better for him. His whole character just makes me sad and I wish he finally could be happy.

Jake Harley is a bum though.
