Kill Six Billion Demons is an unique and experimental graphic novel of weird fantasy, about a human being thrown into baroque hell, with queer themes, dramatic impact and high quality creature design.

Absolute recommended reading.

Fun fact, K6BD used to be a MSPFA! An early draft of the comic, with rougher art, participative, was posted on the old MSPA Forums in the early 2010s. Tom later started back from scratch.

great read. i finally caved to a friend's demands a couple months ago and gave it a big readthrough and found it delightful. to be honest though my interest flagged pretty hard once the tournament arc started and it never really got recovered. it's still good, but the story takes a wildly different shape and it's not one i'm particularly fond of.

woah K6BD used to be a MSPFA? crazy to me imagining the super detailed devilish art being more homestucky, really good comic though I should prob catch up cause idk if they have updated it last i checked

I wouldn't say the old art is very homestuck-y. Its just rougher and more sketchy than the first chapter. It's mostly gone, but there are still some panels floating around on internet archive. I'll see if i can find a link but until then enjoy this old gem from the /r/L6BT discord server.

Here we go. Not every page of the thread is available and like anything on the wayback machine it takes patience and time and maybe a touch of magical skill to navigate but this collection of panels is good. Nietzsche just chilling in the space between worlds.

Huh, never knew anything about the mspfa forums but that's cool, also neat to see Orbital Dropkicks older more rough art, I've only rly seen their stuff with the current version of K6BD and LANCER, which is just some amazing art.

I just kinda assumed since it was on MSPFA the art would be kinda 'homestuck-y' or at the very least based on flash

My shame is that I keep forgetting about K6BD and not finishing it, because no one in my circles has read it. But I love the art and themes so much, even not through it all the way I can tell it's changed the way I write my stories and folklore as well as given me a greater appreciation for drawing backgrounds.
Maybe I'd have an easier time finishing it if I didn't read the hidden stories that are below each page, those can be walls of text and I don't know why I make myself read them every time even when they kill my momentum ':)

Ahh what do you mean, those are the best parts! I'm kidding, of course, I do love the lore snippets (i even compiled them all into a single google doc when I was home sick once), they can be a lot if you're just trying to read it through the first time.
