I think it can be nice sometimes to sit back a little and relax from the stresses of the day. Sip a glass of tea, or whatever other drink you prefer on hand and enjoy the sound of the breeze outside.
What's your favorite tea to drink? If you don't like tea, what other drink do you find nice and relaxing?
Personally, I love a lot of black teas. I'm a fan of Earl Grey, but I also really quite like Irish Breakfast Tea with a little bit of milk in it. It's a nice thing to have in the morning and can usually lift my spirits up a little.
Do you like to have any snacks on the side? I normally don't, but I could see some kind of basic bread cookies or other crackers going quite nicely.
If your weather's forgiving in your area, go open a window and stand by it for a little while if you feel like you need to clear your head a little bit. Sometimes when I'm a little overwhelmed, I'll take a moment by myself to get near a window or even step outside and just, stop thinking for a little.
Hope you have a good day.
You reminded me to have my tea for today I needed it to better relax.
This is a very sweet thread... (ㅅ´ ꒳ `)
A secret? I'm actually very, very bad at brewing tea. I tend to be pretty impatient with food prep in general, and it has resulted in most of my cups of tea being scalded at worst and over/understeeped at best. Because I wasn't keeping an eye on them. It's funny more than anything.
I've never had Earl Grey, but I have had bergamot tea (so essentially Earl Grey without the black tea) due to living near a lot of citrus trees when I was younger, and it's a very comforting flavor for me. I think the most interesting flavor experience I had was trying to make tea with cinnamon bark and nothing else because I had forgotten I was out of honey. Um. It's hot water (flavor, not temperature, but also temperature due to the nature of tea).
I do also enjoy aniseed tea with honey and buttermilk cookies. A very mild flavor profile all around, but sweet and warm.
Tea is a great idea! I'll make myself a cup after this post ^w^
I used to not drink much tea, but I've gotten into the habit of it lately. I'm not picky about my black teas, but I have a box of Irish Breakfast tea as well at the moment. I usually have it with milk and some kind of cookie if it's available!
I also rather like lemongrass and ginger tea. Separately, that is -- though I'm sure they'd be good together too!
i enjoy black tea with milk usually, but i'm also partial to chamomile with lemon juice. i don't typically have any snacks with either.
also a fan of green tea, though i prefer it to be cooled down a little or it just tastes like water to me.
either way, a break for tea and silence sounds nice.
we must rejoice in this morbid voice
I will admit that I have only drink tea once and didn't like it.
But, to stay in the spirit of "man, having a drink is nice", I would like to present y'all: fruit juices and sparkling water.
They're the shit, really.
I like making my own lemon tea and adding ginger and honey to it :]

I haven't tried a lot of teas, a lot of them are too strong in taste for me. I like mine black, an english breakfast or the like.
i'm actually drinking red bull right now, sorry to disappoint. i do enjoy a good mint tea though (when im not in need of a disgusting amount of caffiene)

That's the beauty of life and free will... you can make another tea if you drop it. You can even make two. Or three. Throw a teabag into the ocean and make one giant cup of tea. No one can stop you!
The ocean is already a soup, let's make it a tea next!
i like me some earl grey tea, had a very good orange tea too, forgot what is was though lolol
