i can't believe that a homestuck forum comes when i recently stopped using a typing quirk. so even if i can i simply don't care anymore. but anyway it was subtle but specific it was "random properly capitalized words" but only for emphasis of adjectives and nouns and sudden periods stopping mid-sentence.

Every rep\y I've made on FRAF so far has been with my si\\y \itt\e typing quirk :> Its more proper; capita\izing every sentence, good punctuation, a\right grammar, and of course every L = \. And \ots of emoticons when needed~ ( Ex. :> :0 :? >:o :< )

It's just so much fun to do in a community that actua\\y has a cu\ture that wou\dn't bat an eye at it :D (a \ot of the time anyways \o\).

When I was younger, I used to capitalize the first letter of every word when I typed because I found uppercase letters more visually appealing than their lowercase counterparts; this sentiment has only recently completely dissipated. I hadn't even read Homestuck yet at the time, but I somehow developed what is essentially Kanaya's typing quirk completely organically.

I mean I'm not super into em but I have one for my main troll gal, that bein:

It generally just replaced o with u and y with j, this is to slightly represent her accent as many languages do not have the "dg" j sound you commonly have in English. Opting for the "yot" j which Nordic+Finno-Ugric languages typically use. O change is just pointless tbh I might remove/swap it for something else.

Also, uses of Ö and Ü because they look like silly faces.

when i do use one, i like to capitalize my A's and add obnoxious amounts of semicolons and periods in my sentences, and i also capitalize words that i think are important! 'THE quick brown FOX jumped OVER the lAzy DOG!!!,,,,' something like that!

i kind of combined a bunch of the canon typing quirks wwhen i thought up mine. I wwanted 2 make sure that it wwas still somewwhat readable so i tried 2 stay awway from additions as much as possible. i like eridan 2 much though so i started doin the ww (but not vv!!!!!!!!) that he does.

Even though i think i succeeded and it is kinda readable i still dont use it in more 'formal' wwriting settings, like posting on the forums 4 example... although if quirks become somewwhat more common on the site i may start using it again, wwould be fun. (and since most of my typing is in discord or wwhatever, it is kind of ingrained in2 me)
