if vwere talking rarepairs in general.. ivwe made multiple comments under other threads lately talking about my crazy dancestor shipping obsession most of vwhich are "rare" only because there isnt much dancestor content in canon and people dont really gaf about them much to think outside of the canon relationships LMAO.

but if vwere talkin "nevwer interacted and probably nevwer got to" levwel niche i reaaally like dualpsii. i made a vwhole shitty picmix about it its really good to me. dualsign is also good but tbf thats more common i think because of crokri. i once sawv a darkleer x signless drawving and i think that one vwas also avwesome evwen if i havwent considered them much. i gotta invwest more in ancestors kissing if i became obsessed vwith both ancestor and dancestor shipping at the same time i think id be unstoppable

I also quite like dualpsii, but imo in the same way dualsign is common because of cronkri, dualpsii is also there because of erisol. I love most dualscar ships, love putting that guy in situations.

Speaking of darkleer I guess one of the rarer ships I like is actually dualscar x darkleer, shoutout to the like 3 fics in ao3 that made me ship them, I just really prefer dualsign, constantly inside my head and it's a disease really.

I am constantly switching from being obsessed with the ancestors and then dancestors, currently in my ancestor era, the way my jaw dropped they had easter eggs for their titles in the username thing.

@dualscars SO FUCKIN TRUE put that guy in situations IMMEDIATELY. havwent personally thought about dualscar x darkleer but this DID remind me of a fic i read once about dualscar x summoner that vwas lowvkey avwesome i think. id havwe to go back and reread i kind of forgot. also yeah you havwe a point vwith dualpsii just being erisol 2 to some people i feel like the ancestors are vweird vwhere people read some of them properly as the same people as their pre-scratch versions (condesce, summoner etc) but some just get perceivwed as the beta trolls again especially with psiioniic since he literally just has the sollux cut

I've said a few different ships in various threads but I'll toss out a few: Arasoldavekat is PEAK. All axises of that pairing are amazing but I especially am fond of the rarer aspects of it, which are Arakat & Aradave.

Fefvris is also a really big rarepair of mine. Lionpyh did it SO WELL in Watch The Roots I will never be over Vriska saying to Sollux, "Tell her he has paid". And then in general their whole dynamic is so ripe with possibility considering the way they are both connected to necessary murder for survival.

Is Gamzee Makara / Tavros Nitram a rarepair? Either as matesprits, or with Tavros as moirail. I think they have literally one proper conversation in the actual comic, but they have such a sweet vibe together. I like to imagine a world where instead of goin' all murderclown, Gamzee just hangs around doing rap battles with his boyfriend.

i am extremely partial to neprezi... followed closely by junerezi and karezi but those are not rarepairs. i don't even think nepeta and terezi have a widely accepted ship name and i have no idea why. theyd be the cutest
