Please for the love of god let a Block button be the next update

I lurk on these forums and I see the types of people you are referring to and omg. I get why a block button is very desired. I don't join those convos because I do not have the energy to be confrontational, I'm too anxious for that. I do not understand how y'all have the energy to talk to them. Blocking will be a definite godsend rip

@matthew there's like specific repeat offenders too I just need a block button so they can ragebait into the void.

When I see the profile pictures of the repeat offenders in the "Recent Replies" section I'm like "not THIS dude again!" cus I know im going to read some BS. Yeah my problem could be avoided by me stop being a nosy bitch LMAO, but I also need to block these people too. I get you and others rip

Thirding. I can not wait for the block button, I think Ive told multiple friends about how I can not wait for a block button because of ragebaiters lol.

Personally I understand how tricky moderation can be I mean you don't want to actually just be too heavy with the ban hammer which is why I think a block and mute button is so awesome because then the ragebaiters can just argue amongst themselves forever till the end of time.

I have indeed reported them already so I can't say. And I know that other person who was ragebaiting with the weird Ayn Rand profile picture got banned for a week, but then he just came back and immediately went to the thread of people just being transphobic to also participate in people being transphobic.

Yeah tbh I try not being too demanding on the mods cuz it's a very hectic time but like. If we got no blocking feature, they should proly be a little quicker on the draw

on one hand maybe the forums needed a wee bit more time in the oven before opening its doors

on the other hand ive had a very many pleasant conversations with cool people so im glad the timing shook out as it did regardless.
