plz help I need ideas for my mspfa webcomic and its splatoon related 3:

im working on the whole thing with my splatoon OCS but I'm having a bit of trouble on working on the habitat of where the main character lives, the gist of the idea is that it looks like inkopolis and splatsville but other than that, its either the setting or the characters,one of them is just a hot tempered salmonid, the other is a monotone inkling who dosent show his feelings and a really shy and fearful sanitized octoling, they seem so one noted so I need ur guy's help!!!!
