It's so funny that Bec noir was so powerful the only way to deal with him was to give him an equal. Big up PM. Sucks that she was on Jack duty for all of act 6 so we didn't get to see her as much as the mayor.

You CANNOT beat PM for pure, relentless dedication to duty. The sheer number of things in the first half of the comic which just couldn't have happened without her. Walking straight into enemy territory, bearding two queens in their dens, keeping an appointment with a blood-crazed usurper on the site of his latest massacre, and still trying to do her job from exile on a dead planet. All over a couple of items of mail she happens to see in an abandoned car. (I think it says something good about Carapacian culture that the Dersites respected her role as a messenger and let her pass, btw.) She isn't ambitious, so she refuses the crown. But when nobody else can step up as Queen, she does, and promptly pursues her enemy for three. freakin. years. Absolute legend.
