It's more than MSPA adjacent. Much like Kill Six Billion Demons, Prequel was originally an MSPFA, created on the MSPFA subforum of the official MSPA Forums, and it uses some of Homestuck's narrative codes, integrates many references, etc.
However, I would say this thread would be better placed in Media Discussion.
