like... dude... holy shit.
First of all, the animation is outstanding NOT because of the fluidity, choreografy or amount of action (despite those aspects being really good too)
Im talking about ACTING MOTHAFUCKA
a big aspect of animation is not just the action, but also how each character acts and conveys their personality, which i can tell was amazingly tackled by the animation & storyboard teams. (theyre all a bunch of theater kids, no doubt)
The thought process of the narration is amazingly parralleled with how john acts, looking through his chest, reacting tonew developments in trying to get the beta, little darts of the pupil & hesitation or microscopic decisions of movement its just g-
