Hello everyone! Ender here.
First off, I just want to extend a massive, massive thank you to everyone who came to Promstuck, preordered merchandise (we're getting to you soon dw!), watched the livestream, or just supported from the sidelines. The event was a huge success and we could not have done it without your enthusiasm and excitement. We are all very tired and have been SLEEPING over these last few days LMAO but it was absolutely 10000% worth all of the stress and sleepless nights. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I wanted to make this sort of "official" Promstuck thread to catalogue some of the work we did on this thing, to share it all with you now that it's over!!

(We're trying to collect nice photos of everything- we were so busy staffing and couldn't take many photos ourselves so these folders may be filled up a little later too!)
First, we had our wonderful standees! I drew Dirk, Nikky @gr1mv4d3r drew Jade and Nepeta, Magnus @ambitious.creator drew Tavros, and Gob drew our split Sollux! We are unfortunately NOT auctioning them off (soooorry...) because we love them so much and decided to keep them. Tee hee!

We also had a little brochure booklet thingy for all attendees, with our schedule, map, and activities within it! I designed this guy pretty much entirely on my own, and I'm very proud of it, because I'm usually not so good at graphic design!! Contrary to what many family members believe, illustration and graphic design are actually... two very different... skillsets... no i am not making a logo for you....

If you couldn't attend the event itself, we streamed all of the performances and the cosplay contest live on the Promstuck YouTube channel! That stream was managed by Robin and Vivian (who also managed our sound in general), and I cannot thank them enough!! I made some silly little stream assets to make it look #cutesy, so here are those as well! Plus the absurdly big gifs. The Dress for the Empress (credit to VOFT Dubs!) gif is 50 MB. How? I don't know. I don't know, okay. i dont know how that happened.

We also made a metric fuck ton of decorations for the event ourselves, besides the printed standees! The BOMB ASS throne, the banners and their stands (minus the big stage banner- thank you Visguard for letting us borrow it!), the Can Town backdrop, and the big Mayor plush were all made by staff, hunched over the floor and our dining tables and our garages. I screamed out loud when I saw the finished throne. It's so cool. It's SO cool. We worked incredibly hard on them and most of them weren't visible on the stream, so please check em out and. idk. admire them!!!!

We had quite a few interactive activities as well, such as the Can Town drawing pads, the doodle table, and the kandi table. Here are some photos of the final contributions!! Thank you for all of your doodles and drawings!!

Thank you, thank you, one million thank you's to every member of staff, every volunteer staff member who came to help out, my momma for handling the food department, and my girlfriend's dad for bringing half the sound equipment and mixing the whole time! Thank you to all of you for attending, watching, and supporting! You made this event incredible!!

I was unable to attend being on the east coast, but it's so cool to see community events like this doing so well!!! Awesome job Ender, hope to see more cool community stuff like this in the future!
i was too broke for tickets so i hope this or a similar event makes a comeback next year! i've seen so much footage and discussion about it and it makes me very happy that it was such a fun success :)

I had some friends who went and they say it was a blast!! I've seen a lot of photos here and there from the event and honestly it looked like a lot of fun, the community seemed like a vibe there and there's been a lot of really neat cosplays. Best of luck for if another event like this takes place!!
soooo so jealous, all lil 2014 me wanted to do was go to a big promstuck event like this :,) looks like it was a ton of fun, crossing my fingers id be able to go if u guys ever host another one <3

Promstuck was incredible, and you and your whole crew did an amazing job of running it! It was clear how much love and hard work was put into everything!
The venue was super cool, and the whole thing was just a ton of fun! I got to meet people I've known for years but never met in real life, I got to hang out and chill with a bunch of other Jades...
I got proposed to by Broadway Vriska, as one does.

I watched the livestream from home, and it was so much fun!! It was so obvious that everyone there was having an absolute blast, and it was great for those who weren't able to go to still be able to take part. Every bit of effort put into this showed!!
All of the live performances were fantastic! I think I mentioned in another thread, but shout out to the Prospit Gamzee who looked like they were having the time of their life. Everyone in the livestream was channeling their energy through you lol.
I went and it was absolutely magical!!! I have some pictures that I can share later, but for now I just want to say how wonderful it was. A thousand thank yous to all the folks who helped make it happen. It was something truly special, and represents a lot of what I hope we can protect and keep alive in this fandom space :)
I saw so many people I loved, hugged people I never thought I would get to hug, and had the best prom of my fucking life!!!!!!!!

Oh I should actually like, post a bit about my time there. it was wonderful. I spent a lot of time distracted waiting for a friend to arrive but I don't think I wasted any time doing so. I'll just paste some stuff I said to enderslime directly .
just wanted to say promstuck was such a wonderful event and it meant the world to my girlfriend and i. not even just the event itself but an opportunity to travel and meet up in person with those i'd otherwise never have an opportunity to meet.

Promstuck was hosted in the area I grew up and so it wasn't a hard decision to make the 3 hour drive there. I met so many people I thought I'd never see in person as well as a lot of new friends. Homestuck events have always been too far away for me to go to and seeing that many Homestuck fans let alone that many trans people under one roof is an experience I'd never had before, and I'm not sure when the next chance I'll get will be. It gave me an excuse to return somewhere familiar and go new places all at once. I would absolutely relish the opportunity to go to another promstuck.

I've gotta thank you for putting it on. It was my first homestuck centered con and my first time in Cali. Seeing the community like that was sooooo amazing!
