Psycholonials, how do they work?

I think the Jubilite process of interplanetary colonialism is one of the more interesting themes in Psycholonials so I wanted to start a thread for discussing it.

I'll start off with some conjecture: Earth did eventually birth Nozzleburp, but it is heavily implied that Mizzlebip is the true successor and not Z. This begs the question of whether or not Riotus was influencing multiple people at once. I also wonder how long they've been influencing Earth. Is it like how the trolls have influenced Earth both intentionally and unintentionally? Are clowns in general just a concept incepted from alien culture? (BIGTOP BURGER!?)

oh, I also wanted to see if anyone has recommendations for similar concepts in other pieces of media.

Yeah, it's really interesting ideas and I don't know exactly how it works. I think that it clearly had to be kept vague to leave the option open that none of it was real, and Riotus was the product of Zhen's psyche. At the end of the story it's herself she's facing down after all. But in the interpretation that it's real, I think the best we have is guesswork. I guess the two possibilities are that by the time Earth is under complete or majority Jubilite rule they have the technology to broadcast thoughts across the stars, possibly through ideas sent by Riotus? The other option, less sci-fi, is that once you are a true successor you achieve the ability to control your godhead, and through those psychic abilities you can reach other minds across the stars.

Either way, very cool, and an awesome take on space colonialism in a universe without faster than light travel.

yeah, i believe riotus was most likely talking to both z and mizzlebip at the same time, and kinda gave up on z the moment they took the plane to fiji (x_x)

i like to think each godhead had their own method of propagation? riotus was very aggressive whereas nozzleburp stayed as second in command, most likely manipulating everything from the shadows
