Quirky Mother inspired adventure

There is a young lad who has been awoken by a loud crashing sound outside. That sound could be anything, an alien crash landing, meteors, perhaps even a giant whale with freakishly human legs??

He doesn't seem all that worried about it though.

Before he can investigate he feels the need to have a name.
