ONE MORE THING: did you notice the half life 1 reference in the intermission of hsbc? that is a direct result of me making haven play half life 1. every time i make him play a half life game i show up in his dms like a loan shark and basically threaten him with violence to continue. watching him play 1 specifically is probably THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE SEEN ALL YEAR. I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD.

half-life 1 is my wife's favorite game and it quickly rose to become one of my favorites as well. every time i'm working on a game i think "i sure would love to put a locked door here the player later exits through, completing a circular path" and every time it bangs. half-life 1 is an all-time banger. i am on board for half-life 2 just as soon as i stop getting motionsick on the air boat. @_@

Also, idk what mod ur talking about (tho it sounds neat!! sounds very silent hill tbh) but I'm also not 100% sure how to explain COF. It's a horror mod about a guy named Simon who gets hit by a car, paralyzing him from the waist down, and his deteriorating mental state from there. You can get it for free on Steam without needing the original HL1 to play it. Lots of dark themes and... even darker lighting sometimes, lol.

anyhow back to the point, being that half life (and more so valve) was something i raised on, there was a simple beauty in stuff like half life full life consequences or any of the other stuff made in Gmod
