I saw an Aradia appreciation thread on here earlier. I thought to myself, "I love Rose. What if there was a Rose thread?" So, this was born. Drop your favorite panels, theories, headcanons, ships literally anything - as long as it's Rose-related. Let's all love this flighty broad together.
Personally, I have always had this theory about Rose and Kanaya. My general idea is, Rose is a character very much inspired by Freudian ideas and concepts. From her issues with her mother. I find it only slightly ironic, she came to fall in love with the "Motherly" troll. To elaborate a bit more, I think they complete each other in a rather obtuse convoluted psychoanalytical manner. Rose wants a mother. She is constantly projecting that on Kanaya, or at least I think so. In the way Kanaya can play into Rose's maternal issues, Rose liberates Kanaya. Kanaya is pretty repressed I think, compared to the other Jadebloods. I haven't really fleshed this idea out, and it can probably be worded entirely better by someone else but. I hope that made some semblance of sense. 
In any case, I would like to hear some opinions. Rose is a wonderful character.
