I really liked it, the movie felt incredibly genuine and heartfelt. I never really liked Superman as a kid because of how dark and depressing the actual films were, and I was always more of a Batman fan so like to me the idea of an "evil" Superman just didn't really appeal to me (Plus I always enjoyed the interpretation of them being best buddies who fight crime together :3)
But this movie was super good and I really liked it, I also thought it was hilarious at points. I've never seen a character depict the idea of rage so well on screen until I saw Lex Luthor punch the air over and over while yelling "1A 1A 1A 1A!".

I really loved Superman, it is, a film with so much heart and hope, that depicts superman perfectly, that makes a comic book movie that actually feels like a comic book, it's just so so so good
My parents normally dont like super hero films but my whole family really enjoyed it. I think an issue is that a lot of superhero films these days go in with the idea that you have already seen a shit ton of other movies beforehand or read the comics etc. But the superman film is pretty simple and just explains the barebones of his backstory to you while it tells the story. You don't have to have read a million comics to get what is happening or why what is happening is really important or something.
I loved the Superman movie. I thought about it for several days after I saw it, and I do occasionally think about it still. I would like to go in depth on why I like it, but I'm bad at explaining rip. All I can say was it was such a good movie and I liked it a lot because it felt sincere :]

Have you seen the Superman cartoon from the 90s, or the My Adventures With Superman cartoon that's coming out now? I think you'd like their vibes and their take on Superman. The 90s show especially has plenty of Luthor rage, haha.
The superman movie was great because they just embraced the comic book silliness and optimism that makes superman great.

I really liked the film, I think outside of it just being a good film it is also prob the most faithful feeling superman I've seen on film yet, at least post 2000s superman films, Also genuinely adored Guy Gardner in the film and I adore Lex Luthor in this film, really hope to see Nicholas Hoult play him again cause it's easily the best role I've seen him in
