title. forum has been annoyingly slow for the past few days likely due to the amount of events that trigger lots of discussion. im wondering if this is a) a common experience and B) if ATM there r any plans 4 fixing it. as its been making me avoid posting on the forum for the last few days.

yeah! i love active spaces but im worried since when i first used it there used to be only like . 2-5 seconds of delay when opening forums and threads and now its like a full minute . other web pages on my end work as usual so i dont think this is a my end thing

i havent noticed things being more or less slow than usual but ALSO im using a 10+ year old macbook clinging to its last breath until im able to get back to my actual pc so. i may be an outlier who shouldnt be counted
Yeah, I get lag too. The site is in beta, so I am sure that over time, it will be fixed as updates occur rip

yea its a lil slow I also had some lag when I try to press the buttons that link me to a simple topic or discussion and I have to keep pressing it

since i basically live here i can say that most of the slowness i have experienced has been either
A) a new build of the site getting pushed to fix bugs makes things slow for a bit
B) high user traffic
while i don’t have access directly to the amount of users online i can confidently say that yesterday had the highest number of impressions on the ads per hour. can you imagine a world where we had boring google ads and actually made money off more people being here
