You can just copy the link and paste it into Discord and it'll "refresh" (it's mostly because Discord is limiting the age of links outside itself)
my beloved image uploading site is imgur.com it is also free! If you have a tumblr/reddit/deviantart you can upload images there and then copy the url to paste them to the forums. This does not work with instagram and facebook because they are stupid and save their images as the evil .webp file as opposed to my beloved .jpg and .png files.

Yess pleeease don't just use discord images... It takes 2 extra seconds to upload it to imgur. You make an account and you can have like infinity private posts and images that will not decay.
One of the huge benefits of forums is that discussions stick around instead of being scattered into obscurity like on social media! Someone might want to know what you were talking about in 5 years! If you use Discord URLs, we might not even know what you were talking about in a month...

Discord hasn't been a viable image host in years(Last I was really using it as one was in like 2018 2019) I really can't believe people still link from discord ..
I like postimg.cc for dumping piccys quickly since imgur stopped letting you paste from clipboard to upload (at least for me it did)
if you use lightshot's downloaded client you can still upload screenshots directly too by pressing ctrl+D instead of ctrl+C
