We released a new version of Tablestuck alongside the Launch of FRAF! Feel free to provide any feedback you might have on it here.
This update mostly consists of some small balance tweaks as well as a new Alchemy Upgrade system to give the player more control over their Alchemy as they progress through the game. DM Grimoire changes by Cami, Player Manual changes by Cluckenstein and Eclipi, Player and Session sheet changes by Sassyquatch.
DOUCHE MAGICIAN'S GRIMOIRE:
ALCHEMY UPGRADES:
- Upgrade Level 1: The player can now manually choose the Grist Die Size of the resulting item for an additional 1 STM.
- Upgrade Level 2: The player can choose what Item Properties the resulting item inherits from the two ingredient items rather than choosing && or || for an additional 2 STM.
- Upgrade Level 3: The player can choose the Item Properties that the resulting item inherits from any items registered to their Atheneum for an additional 4 STM.
PLAYER MANUAL:
HEMOSPECTRUM:
- Changed Pounce and Skulker on Oliveblood to play more with the [Hidden] condition
- Changed Iron Fist on Indigo to use your Accessory as your Active Weapon instead of just using a VIM die.
- Changed Strong Jump on Indigo to allow use of the >Grab action when you use it, and Strong Jump can be activated when you use any Basic Movement Action.
- Added immunity to [Wet] and [Drowning] on Fuchsia.
ASPECT POWERS:
- Changed Time's Rung 8 ability to use Time Clones instead of just re-using an action for free.
- Increased the cost of Passive Space Rung 4's ability to 2 AP.
- Changed the creation classes of Space to use items within the area rather than a random item to not step on Void's toes.
- All of Space's abilities can target the Area instead of just the Room.
- New Selves made by some Heart Aspect abilities considered followers.
- Thief and Rogue of Heart's Rung 10 abilities no longer permanent.
- Witch and Heir of Heart's Rung 6 ability no longer permanent.
- Generally changed Life to use the VIT resource instead of GRIT.
- Rage Rung 2 allows self targeting with Frivolity.
- Rage Rung 4 Passive does not allow overflow for PG anymore.
OTHER CHANGES:
- Added a few more interests to the common items sheet: Wizard, Shitty, Harlequin, Serious Business, Baking, Big Game Hunting, and Archeology.
- Gave Buckminster Funnyuncle a raise due to outstanding performance and attitude in the workplace.
CHARACTER AND SESSION SHEETS:
- Changed the term "Gusher" to "Hex" in the Item Creator on the Session Sheet.
- Added Grist Override Tool to Alchemy Calculator.
- Misc. Bug Fixes
It's such a relief to see LIFE use VIT instead. GRIT as damage prevention doesn't feel too far off from the concept of TEMP HP, but it definitely hurt a bit to have a Healer Aspect that didn't heal past one-time-use abilities, and that the "TEMP HP" you did gain would reset at the beginning of your turn every time, and was also pretty irrelevant if you wanted to use your powers outside of any interaction that wasn't specifically Strife.
