merch drops of helluva boss x homestuck have already been announced. the fact that toby fox agreed to work with such a horrible person is completely beyond me. hazbin hotel fans and helluva boss fans are gonna join the fandom and its looking bleak. homestuck is gonna be popularized to the point of a new era but for better for worse is an answer that is basically almost answered. someone with the reputation of vivziepop making the show and no other real way of reading the fucking webcomic. the whole fucking point of removing the UHC was to promote the show, theyre gonna hard reboot the franchise and its looking so over.

Even if you fully buy into Gio's narrative (you shouldn't but whatever), this is plainly untrue. Hussie had been threatening to take legal action for a long time throughout the whole ordeal. Homestuck is literally right now hosting a (slightly out of date) version of the UHC! They wouldn't be doing that if they wanted to wipe the slate clean.

Have you considered that Hussie is not horrible and evil and awful in every way and that Toby Fox genuinely likes homestuck. I generally trust his judgement. The comic is still readable, the UHC forks are still up, it would make no sense for them to intentionally take down the entire comic just to promote a show that we only have a pilot episode for. also fun fact about fans you don't like: you can block them
