These Four Losers zone

I've always wondered what's going on with these four post-getting-killed-on-the-meteor. I think it was a good thing for the narrative that they got killed off where they did, but it's still kind of sad they got relegated to basically background extras in the latter half of the story. The fact that they got doomed to irrelevance without as much development as the rest of the cast gave me a real soft spot for them, and I want to see more done with all four of them.
