What really GIRDS my GREARS about HOMESTUCK is that we don't have more information on what trolls are like societally speaking. i wanna know more about day to day life for the trolls who live on alternia and other planets! hiveswap did a bit for this but i'd still like more :[

What really GRINDS my GEARS is the fact that Caliborn is present as much as he is despite him being an unfunny one-trick pony with a very obnoxiously one-dimensional personality.
what grinds my gears is that we didn't get more caliborn, the only redeeming character of the latter acts.

What really GRINDS my GEARS is that there are still people who think Vriska is wrong. also, there’s too much Calliope near the end.

What really GETS my GOAT is how little we see of the yellow yard journey. Not that there's really much to show there given that they are pretty much just hanging out for three years, but a lot of character stuff with the beta kids and trolls goes by way too fast because of how many time jumps there are from that perspective.
What really GRINDS MY GOAT is that there was a whole other troll session we didn't even see the start of.
