I assume there has to be at least some people here who like playing ttrpgs, and Im always searching for new systems to learn and play. Currently I don't have a favorite, but me and a few friends are playing through all of WoD and although we haven't played it I would say changeling is my favorite.
my favourite tabletop roleplaying game is Lancer. i like mechs, i like in-depth build-crafting, i like combat with good action economy. its pretty fuckin good.

RE: Bec
Goddddddddd I want to play lancer sooooo badly. I used to be the president of my college's ttrpg club and the treasurer had nothing but glowing reviews for lancer. I remember one fateful night after a administrative meeting we just spent 30 minutes talking about lancer. It was a good night.
Traveller has by far the best character creation system of any TTRPG I’ve tried. Once you go through it you’ll want to homebrew it into every other system lol
Sort of a generic answer but Cyberpunk 2020 (which is I thiiink the second edition of Cyberpunk?) smacks crazy style. I wholeheartedly believe that most of the DnD5e players who just got into ttrpgs would have more fun with Cyberpunk 9 times outta 10
nah cyberpunk isnt a generic answer. ive been meaning to try cyberpunk red out but ive not had the time, energy, or circumstances favourable enough to run it. never looked into 2020 though,,,

Cyberpunk has always been in my peripheral vision, but I never really got off my ass and played it due to not being a big sci fi person. You think I could get anything from the system if thats the case?
favorite ttrpg ive personally played probably has to be eureka! the fact that it encourages having players leave the room/call/etc when their characters arent in a scene is helpful for me, as a person who can struggle to stay focused for long periods of time- and it just makes for more fun roleplay, when i know exactly as much as my character knows.
id really like to try cyberpunk 2020 someday, though. ive had the book for ages.

I haven't played a lot of TTRPGs yet, just a few, but currently, my favorite one is Aquelarre! It's somewhat unknown since it's almost only played in my country, Spain. It's based on the spanish medieval ages (though it can be easily applied to any other european country and there are supplements to do so) with low-fantasy, as in, magic is extremely hard to learn and use and it's users are few and hidden, and the bestiary is based on mythological folklore creatures of the region!
god that sounds so cool, i love lil ttrpgs that hone in on very specific vibes like that. im glad it exists

re: miss_bec
I'm glad you find it cool! I know the main manual for the 3rd edition (the most recent one, even though a 4th one is on the works) is translated in english along with a few supplements. I think the physical edition is hard to come by, but in case you're interested to try it out or just read it, I think you could find the english pdf version easily!
