what is your favourite bug

i love moths a lot :) all of them but i like the hummingbird hawk moth a lot
also rose chafers are nice...my friends....

I've always been really fond of praying mantis. They look so cool. I have good memories of being in elementary school and finding praying mantises on the playground and chilling with them; or at I think two different points finding them on plants in the home (we had a lot of greenery.)

I'm also a big fan of beetles for their aesthetic, and ants for their interesting ethology and societal structure. Bugs are so great. I also really like cicadas, and i've always been happy I lived in an area where they're common; they sound like summer and elicit a heavy nostalgia in me.

wasps are mean as hell but they're also extremely stylish

i just think jumping spiders are the cutest lil guys to ever exist. if one wanted to be my friend i think id have peaked in life

Bees are the coolest, but all bugs are awesome tho.

Polyphemus moth caterpillars. They became my favorite after I found a really fat one outside and picked it up. They have gnarly looking faces but they are so gentle and cute... I had a hard time releasing it because it didn't want to let go of me lol

I LOVE WASPS💥💥💥 theyre perfect creatures

there are more species of wasps (well, hymeonopterans in general. but almost all of them r parasitoid wasps) than any other group in the world even more than beetles

big big fan of dragonflies and also mantises, but all bugs are pretty neat

any type of centipede really but the scolopendra polymorpha is so cool i LOVE its coloration and especially the blue versions?? finding a blue tiger centipede feels like finding a shiny pokemon and i mean this in the best way possible because pokemon fucking rocks. anyways, these guys are adorable. keep an eye out if you live in south america or mexico!! ^www^PS: if you do see one just remember it has some venom in its bite so just. dont pick it up if you're afraid of bit. gorepuke out

oh my god so many i love bugs sm... my favorite bug of all time is the metallic stag beetle that thing is Literally me but very close seconds are the gaudy sphinx moth (i actually have one in my room!! its dead but fully intact, i found it like that and was so excited) and the orchid mantis. absolutely beautiful bugs.. the goliath birdeater, cobalt blue turantula (not bugs but spiders same thing basically), rainbow beetle, and dead-nettle leaf beetle are also up there because i just think theyre cool and especially in the beetles cases soo pretty. and an honorable mention is the green darner dragonfly because i see them a lot where i live + any centipede because theyre awesome :)

i fw spiders and mantids but honeybees probably gonna be my fav for a while. Vi bug fables a honeybee and that's goat
