davekat which i know is the most boring, vanilla answer i could give but they have lived in my brain constantly for 5 years now and they arent goin anywhere. vrisrezi is a close second though. i love doomed yuri

Honestly? I loved Johnkat when I was reading Homestuck for the first time. It just has such a special place in my heart.

Honestly? It has to be Kanaya x Fefeta. I also really like Vrisrezi, but that's kind of a given, considering how complex they are. But, Kanfeta means a lot to me. Purely because that's the stupid little otp my girlfriend made and I think he's absolutely awesome, and I want nothing but the best for him. So much so I've gone to blogs dedicated to doing art requests and asking for them to draw the ship for my girlfriend. I even participated in the Homestuck Secret Santa last year and asked for Kanfeta as my gift, purely because I loved him so much. But, truth be told, they have a really really cute dynamic.

Imagine you're Kanaya, you're fed up with people taking you for granted and then one day, you end up bumping into Fefeta. Sure, she's a combination of two of your beloved friends, but.. that just means there's twice as much love for you stored in one person. They mean a lot to me.

SINCE I AM THE MOST CAPABLE CONNOISSEUR OF ROMANTIC NOVELS, I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE BEST SHIP OF ALL WOULD INCLUDE ME. DAVE IS THE MOST REASONABLE OF ALL THE HUMANS THAT WE GOT. SO PROBABLY ME AND HIM. MAYBE.

as much as i don't get myself involved in homestuck ships, i've had other friends get involved with them and sometimes it spreads to me like a little fungus. two examples of those would be pepsicola (t4t) and katnep. as for a ship that i naturally like would be rosemary, and as simple as it may be (and very much canon!), who doesn't love some good ol' yuri in their lives?

Davekat, because they have such a wonderful contrast. I like that they spent a lot of time together in the meteor and realized that they enjoyed each other's company.

neprezi, they interacted 1 time but it was a really cute time + it seems like she’s the only one who will regularly do that with Nepeta.

this is so difficult.. I like ships more than this one but Johnkat always had a special place in my heart because it was my first homestuck ship when I first started reading it

im not much of a shipper, but johnrezi maybe? they have this weird energy together, and they both probably know that, but i think they'd be there for eachother even when shit hits the fan

As for canon, I'm partial to Anything Nepeta + Dave + Karkat + Jade (any combination of any of those four, or hell, all four at once lol), I think they all have a lot of neat dynamics and it's overall pretty cute.

But one of my favorite unusual pairs I've ever read about in the fanspace that made a really good point is a young adult Dave <> Cronus. In the story it's from, trolls lived on earth, but were sort of an oppressed people. Cronus was very self destructive and, frankly, an asshole, and Dave was forced to keep an eye on him. Eventually though, it became a thing where Dave was needing to protect this broken troll from endangering themselves, while Cronus realized Dave started seeing him for who he really was, and felt the need to start getting better for him, it was pretty sweet and honestly again, one of the strangest pairs I've ever heard of.

I LOVE DAVEKAT!!!!!!! i dont care if it's the common answer, sometimes things are popular because they're good.

my second favorite ships involving dave and karkat respectively are davejade and karezi. i like most ships involving karkat however
