whats that strider thing called...

Okay I don't know how to phrase this, but do you know that thing that both Dave and Dirk do where they jump around really fast? Does that have a name??
I swear it does, or at least Ive heard people refer to it as something specific, but I cannot remember what Ive heard it be called-
I don't know if maybe I just made up a name for it in my head as well?? I feel like I'm going crazy every time I try to look it up-
