as for me, i have thought about wren far more than is healthily advisable. and not even in a salacious manner or anything i am just really fixated on the bitch. so much to examine... i'm kind of obligated to pick her. gene's my easy runnerup, no way could i not have the girls (plural) x2 as my top two.

honestly all the characters are so well written in their own ways and even characters we don't know much about like josh and null already have so much personality so its so hard to pick

I'm ridiculously ill about wren. Everyone should watch Belladonna of Sadness on her recommendation, by the way. It's so much context for why Wren is like this! You know. Among all the other reasons.
I think my second-favorite is Jess because I see so much of myself in her, especially the anger issues. Also I used to pay for my school lunches by rigging dice games for friends. Scammergirls unite!

i think jess due to how serket-like she is , my top 3 would most likely 8e jess , jessprite , and null . its not to imply all the other characters fall 8ehind somehow 8ecause theyre all very lovely (especially wren ! i adore wren ! ) 8ut im just a really massive les8ian for morally flawed women (jessprite and null) and jess is just Really rel8a8le , most likely due to 8eing a serket myself .
If i had to pick a favorite it'd be Null because she is relatable to me in that way that makes you wince. If i can choose more than one bug my second favorite is easily Adam but i like them all so much.

On a more serious note I just kinda love him? He's kinda my favorite and has been sense he was introduced which is incredible given the all star cast ap has but like... hes so funny? and real as fuck? hes weird and disassociated but hes down to earth and understanding whats going on in front of him, and his other shoe arguably still has not dropped. I love him and want him to become a volley ball i will play with.
null might be one of the funniest characters i've seen.
I like Josh most, he seems like a proper dork. I rnjoy his antics.

everyone is so ridiculously well-written that picking one above the rest is nearly impossible, but i'd have to go with wren tbh. i like everything about her to a degree slightly greater than the others

#2...is difficult because everybody is neat lmao. i mean jack noir is kind of a personal favorite regardless of where he shows up but in terms of actual original characters...its a close race between adam and null
i love adam as the snarky deadpan straight man, he has very grounded frustrations and has great conversations with basically everyone
null is Deeply Offputting and i love it, i want to see more of her. so far she's taken the same kinda role as the early-act trolls, mysterious and deeply antagonistic flawed guide-type, but her unexpected dynamic with josh is great, we're starting to get into some more depth with her and i cant wait
wren and josh are also great, gene is funny but also i am worried (i mean, well. obviously, considering the flash forward, but). they are doing some disco elysium shit to this boy
