I really like writing. Can you tell from my silly username?
(I didn't see a topic for it so I figured I'd start one.)
I love hearing about other peoples' writing and process. Personally, I've been pretty scattered thinking about a few projects! A couple are for the RWBY FNDM, but I'm also considering turning those "TTRPG story I never get to run" ideas into original fiction...

my writing process is putting on music (genres depends on what im writing but when in doubt, boards of canada stuff always gets me pumped) and just writing my heart out.
its usually not very good, but when i/my friends edit it starts to get awesome. or at least thats what id hope haha
everything u do is a balloon :)
my process is:
>come up with cool idea
>open google docs
>write a tiny bit
>realize im writing the shittiest work known to man
>leave the work unfinished until the end of time
:)

re:bralsra
there are a few websites meant for hosting writers, like FictionPress, Writer'sCafe, or Substack (my preference of the three), but even for original fiction it's not too uncommon to share it on AO3. Obviously you can share it here and on other platforms and probably should, since original fiction doesn't often catch as much attention as fan content.

i should probably make a thread here for sneakpeeks & maybe a 'elevator pitch' when i figure one out...

most of my writing usually comes in really brief creative bursts because i absolutely suuuck at writing a lot over a long time period, which is weird cuz it's basically the opposite of how i approach animation work. i do nothing for a while until i get an idea or inspiration and then i can write like, 2.5k words in no time at all before it's back to nothing.

I wish I was good at writing, I'm hoping my writing will improve as I start making my MSPFA.
CREATOR OF FORCES OF WHAT?!
Writing? I'm still figuring that out. After years of daydreaming about stories, I tried NaNoWriMo. (Kind of unfortunate that I picked the year when a whole bunch of scandals blew up that killed it off 18 months later.) I made it to 5000 words of the 50,000 target. Started writing a long Homestuck fan-session on FFN and AO3 around this time last year, which I'm still sloooooowly plugging away at.
