Nah nah shes a terezi kinnie, and im not just going off vibes ive got hella evidence up in here.
First Off: her affinity for Karkat. You have to think of Zhen in the context of her being an old old head for homestuck, and Terezi x Karkat used to be KING of the shipping war. It might be hard to imagine given current ship power structures but it was, trust me I was there fighting for communism against it (Karkat x John).
Exhibit B: They married a blonde. Vriska is a blonde white woman coded character, and what is Zhen's type? I tuck the case in with a bed time story.
Thirdly: Zhen has a huge justice complex, she does not want to make the world better with her revolution, just to enact justice on those who wronged her.
Exhibit D: to quote the Epilogue, "there was this crazy character who used to mutilate her stuffed dragons. looking at those islands always reminded me of her." Nantucket island literally made Zhen think of Terezi.

i think zhen on some level wanted to be vriska so badly in essence but knew she could never match her swag as a kid, so it wasn't in the forefront of her mind as much as their appreciation of karkat was. he was the character hussie decided to put on their wall afterall.
on a meta level, i wouldnt be surprised if hussie took inspriation from both vriska and terezi to write zhen. she feels like, to me, if vriska had terezi's thirst for justice; or if terezi had vriska's absolute audacity. either way, hussie has a deep respect for crazy women who love women, and i respect that.
that being said, i am going to piggyback on the reply before me and also suggest my surprise at the lack of gamzee mentions.
