Also I don't have an opinion on Puerto rican Crockerberts, I always read them as just Americans because they just live in a very ominously non-liminal stereotypical white fence american suburb with no indication of outside culture in the house. I know those environments aren't exclusive to white people but there's little to nothing that reminds me of puerto ricans in my life in there.
All head cannons come from personal experience really. And my experience is distinctly not american, never been there and probably never will, I am in no place to diminish any validity of the head cannon, I'm just like "I don't really see it".
If I'm being honest I don't see much of a point in the importance that is sometimes assigned to heritage, I do see a lot of value in preserving and honoring culture and traditions you came from and or value, but I dont really get it when it just comes down to family or genes
