Not everyone likes their favorite lil guy just being all happy and retired. I for one think it's great when my favorite lil guy has nothing but problems going on in their lives. I think its incredibly boring when a character just retires or whatever and the writers just decide that they're going to not do much ever again lol, or they just force the character into a boring mundane role.

If I wanted to read about Karkat being daves twink boyfriend who wears sweaters I would've clicked the AO3 link and scrolled.
