Ooh, I love to play D&D, specifically I enjoy playing a custom homebrew version of it geared towards solo play (so that it essentially becomes a fun game-ified randomized writing exercise.)

I have a character from a long campaign of mine named Lalothi, she's a custom species known as Gemlyon which is a related race to dragons (think Kobolds, Dragonborn, etc). Her story has a lot to do with needing to hide from others due to Gemlyons having a history of being taken by powerful wizards to become their minions (since they tend to have a lot of latent magic ability).

Her journey to find a lost artifact of her peoples' history takes her across the lands where she ends up becoming some kind of Sorcerer-Monk, being able to wield magic martial arts, all while evading a mysterious shadowy knight that tries to attack places she stays at.

Eventually her story ends when she realizes that there are more important things in life than finding an old artifact at this point, and begins a revolution of the monster races (such as Gemlyons, goblins, ogres, kobolds, etc) to demand equality in major common-race settlements. The actions of this revolution makes big waves across the world, setting the stage for the future, in case I'd ever want to delve back into doing a campaign in this world.
