@davespritejohn: to change a thumbnail size for a layer you can right click the preview and choose it from a dropdown
you can also use the Object subtool to select a layer by clicking on your canvas, set it up to filter out locked/clipping layers and it works like a charm.
SHAPED OR MOLDED FORMS appear to have been formed from a plastic material through directly applied force.
ABSTRACT FORMS are of uncertain origin.
