Have you considered that Hussie is not horrible and evil and awful in every way and that Toby Fox genuinely likes homestuck. I generally trust his judgement. The comic is still readable, the UHC forks are still up, it would make no sense for them to intentionally take down the entire comic just to promote a show that we only have a pilot episode for. also fun fact about fans you don't like: you can block them

I don't think helluva/hazbin fans are as bad as you think, honestly homestuck fans have a worse reputation. I think gatekeeping media is kinda dumb tbh
