im interested in seeing what theyve done and what the plan would be if greenlit because yeah adaptation is weird and can go in so many different ways especially for something thats so tied to its specific medium (consider the non-ds versions of The World Ends With You and how awkward the adjustments were to make it make sense on a single screen)

but also i am not entirely confident it would get greenlit for a variety of factors (popularity (as mentioned), the nature of the content, the length of the source material, the reputation of the source material, etc). i think if the pilot is good i would hope it would be greenlit, and i do like the little bit we get to see.. but... i dunno man i dunno
theres been a lot of truly truly incredible animated shows that never get past the pilot ep its really just a dice roll
