i think itl/l most likely be fine [if it ends up get/ting made], but i do fe/el like taking aw/vay the chats and such takes aw/vay from some real/ly great subtle characterization. one of my favourite smal/l details is how/v vriska starts using more '8's in her w/vords w/vhen she gets upset, w/vhich had [to me] led to some real/ly co/ol and revelatory character moments. the w/vebcomic format just fe/els so ingrained in how/v the story is told and how/v dif/ferent ideas are expres/sed that i cant imagine how/v an adaptation could capture that same vibe. like, how/v could an animated show/v capture the fe/eling of literal/ly going back to previous pages to input pas/sw/vords and stuf/f?? homestuck incorporated its medium into the actual storytel/ling so w/vel/l and so often that any adaptation w/vil/l by neces/sity ne/ed to make sacrifices in that area. that being said, i have hope! i think if proper thought is put into it, it could be an interesting exploration of the story from another angle through the various strengths of the media its being adapted into. i w/vil/l mis/s typing quirks though

i post from a dark scary ro/om like from house of leaves
