To be honest i doubt the pilot will be an actual pitch for a new animated adaptation and just more of a fun, fanservice-y celebration thing. from the trailer it seems like its adapting all of act 1 and 2, as well as touching on act 3 and later, which is way too breakneck for any kind of actual adaptation. also, i imagine toby fox and vivziepop are insanely busy with their own projects (idk for sure, i dont really follow vivziepop at all), and i don't think they'd be willing to take something as long and daunting as a homestuck adaptation under their wing right now. even if it does get adapted, we're probably not seeing it again for a long time.
