I love Calliope and Karkat's friendship. I kind of think of them as moirails, in my brain. I feel like they have similar interests in writing. Karkat's not afraid to criticize Calliope's writing, but I think they'd always be down to beta read for eachother yknow? It's very much a comfort ship for me but I just get warm fuzzies thinking about them reading eachother's work or watching movies or cooking together. Calliope making Candy!Karkat buff is so fucking funny to me, like Why Did They Do That, but at the same time I think it's kind of adorable that they also regularly characterized him as a saner member of Candy's cast.
