to Raffy:

HH is a poorly executed story, that plays in bunch of stereotypes (Native-coded tribes Sorrows & Dead Horses and their enemy, White Legs, are introduced in dichotomy of Noble-Ignoble Savages, NPCs Joshua Graham and Daniel are White Saviors, etc). A lot of missed opportunities, like game doesn't really explores how Native communities could survive ~200 years and probably even prosper, considering that Zion Canyon wasn't bombed and living conditions there are generally better than in the rest of the wastelands. Instead, we encounter tribes that are nearly extinct, two of them led by white mormons.

In the DLC there's no questioning Daniels christian beliefs, while he doubts Sorrow's tribe belief in Father in the Caves (following the side story, we can learn that he was a real person, but can't communicate Daniel abt it nor tell the Sorrows). We also can't confront Joshua with the fact that he is still a Legionnaire at heart and has a black-and-white morale. The endings of HH is not varied in options for tribes, so depending on your actions they will either assimilate with New Canaanites, leave their ancestral land, or extinct...

That's why HH feels half-baked for me :\ Another reason to play HH first of all DLCs, its easy & you could forget it after finishing. Still makes me mourn potential tho, Josh Sawyer is not above criticism for this DLC.
